Job Full Description

Job Summary:

• Complete all assigned maintenance service requests daily.

• Assist in monitoring the work performed by outside contractors.

• Follow directives from company management, including:

  • Trash pickup and curb cleaning

  • Routine landscape maintenance

  • Unit trash-outs and associated cleaning tasks

• Provide leadership and quality service in maintaining the property.

• Perform apartment turnover repairs such as:

  • Recaulking

  • Cleaning and replacing vents

  • Inspecting and repairing toilets, closet doors, and blinds

  • Replacing water heaters

  • Completing work orders as needed

  • Painting and other general maintenance tasks

   

Location: Bloomington, IN

Position Type: Evaluation to Hire

Pay: $18.00 / hr - $20.00 / hr

Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Fruday

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and problem solving
• Time management skills; ability to prioritize
• Must work and interact effectively and professionally with others on the team
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information

Skills Required:

• HVAC/EPA Cert (Universal Cert is preferred)
• Ability to read shop drawings, specifications, schematics, and technical docs
• Ability to use a computer to document and report to property management.

Experience Required:

• Property Maintenance experience required
• Supervisor experience strongly preferred
