Experience Required:

• Prior CNC Grinder and Lathe operator experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand tools

Job Summary:

Operate and set up CNC machines while meeting production, quality, and safety standards. This role may include training on advanced CNC operations and set-ups, with opportunities to progress to independently running multiple machines and performing complex job set-ups.

• Setup machine and install programs, read blueprints or jobs to determine product specifications and tooling instructions to plan operation sequences
• Run production, make sure machines are operating as expected, basic maintenance
• Quality inspections, inspecting pieces for defects, measuring workpieces to determine accuracy of machine operation using rules, templates, or other measuring instruments

Skills / Qualifications

• Prior CNC Grinder and Lathe operator experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand tools
• Good basic math skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to operate multiple machines as training and experience allow
