Job Full Description
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Tamping Machine Operator. This position is responsible for producing high-quality architectural cast stone using the dry-tamp process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing hands-on production work, operating pneumatic equipment, and maintaining clean molds and work areas.
Job Summary
- Produce high-quality architectural cast stone using the dry-tamp process
- Fill molds with pre-mixed sand and concrete formulas
- Operate a pneumatic ram/tamper to compact materials into molds
- Clean molds between uses to maintain product quality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow established production procedures and quality standards
- Perform repetitive, hands-on production tasks throughout the shift
Experience Required
- Previous manufacturing, construction, concrete, or production experience is helpful but not required
- Experience operating pneumatic equipment is a plus
- Willingness to learn production processes and equipment
