Position Overview:The Manual Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating manual lathes to produce precision parts, as well as assisting with maintenance and repair of hydraulic machinery. The ideal candidate has hands-on machining experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate manual lathe machines to perform turning, facing, drilling, and threading operations Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met Troubleshoot and make adjustments or repairs to equipment as needed Perform maintenance and light repair work on hydraulic machinery Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience operating manual lathes Experience with hydraulic machines or hydraulic repair preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Proficient with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Interview Right Now!
