Job Full Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inventory Specialist to support warehouse operations and ensure accurate inventory control. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in inventory management within a warehouse environment and be comfortable operating a forklift and performing physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and regular audits
- Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or variances
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming materials
- Pick, pack, and stage materials for production or shipment
- Operate a forklift to move and organize inventory safely and efficiently
- Update inventory data in warehouse management systems
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management within a warehouse setting (required)
- Prior forklift experience (certification preferred)
- Strong understanding of inventory control procedures and best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
