Job Full Description
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class B Driver to join our team. This role involves operating a box truck to deliver materials, equipment, and supplies for our pool and concrete projects. The ideal candidate must have experience driving a box truck, a valid CDL B license, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a box truck to deliver materials to job sites on time
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment, lifting 50+ lbs regularly
- Assist with on-site material placement as needed
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues
- Ensure all deliveries are accurate and complete
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients
- Assist with warehouse or job-site tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL B license (required)
- Previous experience driving a box truck in a professional setting (required)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently throughout the day
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and defensive driving techniques
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic mechanical knowledge and vehicle inspection experience preferred
