Job Description:
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will support various stages of the production process, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained in compliance with SOPs and GMP requirements. Your role will include operating manufacturing equipment, assisting with material handling, packaging, labeling, and ensuring the accuracy of production documentation. You will also help maintain a clean and safe production environment while performing essential tasks to ensure efficiency and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow SOPs and apply GMP Quality System standards to execute duties.
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in the weighing, mixing, and dispensing of materials.
- Help with packaging and labeling activities.
- Document production activities accurately in both written and electronic records while maintaining data integrity.
- Clean equipment and rooms in line with procedural requirements.
- Inspect drug delivery products for visible defects.
- Report process or equipment issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Perform basic calculations as outlined in production records.
- Observe and verify tasks and calculations done by others to ensure accuracy.
- Perform additional duties as required by the company.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional relevant certifications are a plus).
- Previous experience in a CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) production environment
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Good critical thinking skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work weekends as required.
- Must be able to work onsite.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Physical demands typical of a laboratory and manufacturing environment.
- Must follow safety procedures when working with chemicals and mechanical equipment.
- Required to wear PPE to handle hazardous materials.
- Ability to stand and work inside a glovebox.
- Capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
Pay & Hours:
$17.50 per hour
6AM-3PM
8AM-5PM
Saturday & Sunday- Occasional Fridays
