Job Summary: Provides the correct placement of lumber into the jig. Assures that joints are correctly plated on both sides. Reads the shop documentation to ensure correct part and plate placement. Shift work is part of this job. Assist in setting up and properly setting the ejection mechanism as directed by the foreman. Stocks in webs and plates for trusses.
Pay: 17.50/HR
2nd shift - 3pm-2:30am: Mon-Thur
Essential Functions
· Review the build instructions before the start of any build run to gain a broader vision of the job.
· Develop a habit of checking joints for accurate plate placement on both sides.
· Participate in training when provided.
· Strive to work in a clean/safe environment.
· Learn the significance of camber, wane, and grade sequence.
· Identify any members with missed stamping or needing tag placement.
· Work closely with the line foreman and strive to emulate those skills.
· Listen to terminology and ask questions when they arise.
