Production Manager
Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Production Manager in Terre Haute, IN. The position is a full-time, long-term opportunity with pay range of $70,000 to $85,00 (depending on experience and skills). This is a Monday-Friday day shift position. This is a direct hire position. The ideal candidate would have strong work history, amazing operational skills, experience in upper management roles and superior mechanical math skills.
Job Requirements
- Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery
- Manage and supervise production staff, fostering strong teamwork and communication
- Apply prior manufacturing experience to optimize workflows and resolve operational challenges
- Utilize strong math skills, including precise measurement with rulers and accurate conversion of fractions to decimals, to maintain production accuracy
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, company policies, and quality control procedures
- Train, coach, and support employees to enhance performance and skill development
- Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements
- 5-7 years current manufacturing experience is required
- High School Diploma/GED Required, Associates or Bachelor's in Business or Related field preferred
- Strong people skills
