Job Full Description
Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Full Time Customer Service/Laundry Attendant!
Key Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and assist walk-in customers with a friendly, professional attitude
- Provide personalized service to valet/drive-up customers with their laundry and garment care needs
- Offer guidance on cleaning methods, stain removal, and finishing services
- Accurately sort, inspect, and mark incoming customer orders
- Handle payments and maintain accurate cash drawer records
- Ensure all clothing items are properly labeled and stored in alphabetical order
- Help keep the work area clean, tidy, and well-organized
- Support other team members and complete additional tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Friendly and professional customer service approach
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with a variety of customers
- Comfortable alphabetizing and sorting items accurately
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Prior customer service experience is a plus
- Ability to stand for at least 6 hours during shifts
- A valid driver’s license is required
Hours:
- Averages 35–40 hours per week
- Must be available to work any hours between 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Every other Saturday required
- Schedule flexibility is available within open hours
