Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Claims Coordinator!
Position Summary: Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping people through challenging situations? We’re seeking a Claims Coordinator to join a fast-paced, customer-focused team in Cedar Rapids, IA. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for vehicle owners during the claims process—providing support, clear communication, and timely follow-through every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming claims with speed and accuracy
- Make timely contact with vehicle owners to collect complete and detailed information
- Assign repair vendors and monitor progress for timely completion
- Accurately rekey vendor repair data into the internal claims system
- Keep well-organized, up-to-date records and documentation
- Provide administrative and scheduling support to the technical team as needed
- Respond to client inquiries with professionalism and care
- Handle and de-escalate customer concerns with empathy and problem-solving
- Flag complex issues and route them to the appropriate internal team members
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- Background in customer service or administrative support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Solid computer skills and accurate typing abilities
- A calm, solutions-focused approach—even under pressure
Hours:
- Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No nights or weekends!
