Job Full Description
Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Maintenance Technician!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent experiences for residents, vendors, community partners, investors, and owners.
- Execute best-in-class curb appeal and property appearance standards.
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor with operations, inspections, requisition of materials, and capital improvement projects.
- Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance duties.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and follow required health and safety guidelines.
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of related maintenance experience required.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Strong work ethic, ambition, and desire to learn and grow.
- Effective communicator and listener.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
- Ability to lift/move 20–70 pounds and safely move appliances/heavy machinery.
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
