Our Client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for multiple Warehouse Associates!
Position Summary:
Join the team at Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) as a Warehouser and play a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy hands-on work, staying organized, and being part of a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming materials and products
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for delivery or shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided if needed)
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized in compliance with company standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines and customer expectations
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or order fulfillment experience (preferred but not required)
- Forklift experience or certification is a plus (training available)
- Ability to lift and move packages and materials up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team
- Must be able to pass a background screen (required)
Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 7am-5pm
- Work-site location: 4520 20th Ave SW Cedar Rapids, IA 52404
