Job Full Description
Position Summary
Our Client is seeking Event Staff to support a classical string quartet performance. Team members will assist with setup, breakdown, and all operational needs throughout the Candlelight Series event.
Key Responsibilities
- Place decorative candles and various event items throughout the venue following provided direction
- Assist with designated showtime roles, which may include:
- Greeter
- Ticket Scanner
- Usher (guiding guests to their seats)
- Pack candles and event supplies neatly and efficiently for future event use
- Load and unload event materials from the U-Haul
- Maintain a high level of professionalism, representing Express, TAG, Candlelight, and the venue respectfully at all times
Qualifications
- Event setup or teardown experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow direction, work efficiently, and interact respectfully with guests and venue staff
Hours / Event Schedule
12/19 (Iowa City)
- 1 Assistant Lead: 1:00pm – 11:00pm
- 6 Staff: 1:00pm – 11:00pm
12/20 (Cedar Rapids)
- 1 Lead / U-Haul Driver: 1:00pm – 11:00pm
- 1 Assistant Lead: 1:00pm – 11:00pm
- 6 Staff: 1:00pm – 11:00pm
12/21 (Cedar Rapids)
- 1 Driver / Lead: 9:00am – 12:00pm
- 2 Staff: 9:00am – 12:00pm
Attire:
- Staff must be in all black and closed toe shoes, no leggings allowed
