Job Full Description
Our client in Cedar Rapids is looking for a Wiring Assembly Technician
The purpose of this role is to support the assembly of industrial microwave ovens in a manufacturing environment. This role involves mechanical, electrical, and basic plumbing assembly while following blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble industrial microwave ovens, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components
- Perform wiring and electrical assembly per schematics and blueprints
- Follow work orders and inventory control procedures accurately
- Use hand tools and basic mechanical tools safely and efficiently
- Follow written and verbal instructions to meet production standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and basic electrical circuits
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- General mechanical skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without restrictions
- Good attendance record
- High School Diploma or GED
Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour
