Our Client in Cedar Rapids is looking for a Forklift Operator!
We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position is forklift-only and focuses on safely and efficiently loading and unloading trailers while supporting daily warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a standard sit-down forklift (Yale and Mitsubishi)
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and accurately
- Stack and organize materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform pre- and post-operation forklift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition
- Report to the shift supervisor for daily work assignments
- Coordinate with supervisors to empty full containers and trash bins throughout the facility
- Monitor equipment condition and report issues to minimize downtime
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift operating experience required
- Experience with sit-down forklifts
- Ability to safely load and unload trailers
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Certification can be completed on-site
Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm
