Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Warehouse Associate!
Position Summary: Our client is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Helper to support daily warehouse operations. This full-time position plays a key role in ensuring materials are received, organized, and prepared for installation teams. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while handling physical tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with receiving and unloading incoming products, ensuring items are undamaged and accurate
- Retrieve and stage materials from storage areas for installation crews
- Pre-stage door products daily to support efficient job site operations
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials
- Operate warehouse equipment to load, unload, move, and stack materials (training provided)
- Organize inventory on shelves and racks according to company standards
- Deliver parts and materials to job sites as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability and willingness to learn warehouse equipment operation
- Strong work ethic with reliable attendance
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials regularly
- Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean workspace
Hours:
- Monday – Friday
- 40 hours per week
