Our client in Cedar Rapids, IA is looking for a Screen Cleaner/Reclaim Associate on 1st shift!
Position Summary:
This role is responsible for cleaning and reclaiming printing screens to ensure they are ready for reuse in production. The position involves moving screens through multiple stages of the cleaning process, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather screens from the production floor and transport them to the reclaim area
• Remove all temporary tape from screens
• Card off excess ink and clean ink from frames
• Run screens through the reclaim machine for final cleaning
• Inspect cleaned screens and stack them on carts
• Monitor chemical balances and levels
• Perform weekly cleaning of reclaim machine
• Troubleshoot machine issues as needed
• Maintain ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must wear:
- Gloves
- Safety glasses
- Be able to use cleaning chemicals
Attire: Shorts or pants & a T-shirt- they might get paint on them. Closed-toed shoes at all times.
Qualifications:
• Must be able to stand for long periods
• Consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and occasionally dirty environment
• Ability to handle 250+ screens per day through multiple stages
Hours:
• 7:00am – 3:40pm (hours may vary based on customer demand, overtime possible)
Pay:
• $15.00
