We are seeking a skilled and dependable Granite Countertop Installer to join our installation team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe transport, precise fitting, and professional installation of granite, quartz, and other solid surface countertops in residential and commercial spaces. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and customer service skills are essential to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, transport, and unload countertop materials to and from job sites
- Measure, align, and secure countertops according to specifications and design layouts
- Cut, polish, and edge granite or quartz on-site as needed for a perfect fit
- Ensure seams, joints, and cuts are clean and precise
- Securely install sinks, backsplashes, and other attachments
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices with accuracy and care
- Protect customer property and maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and project managers
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality control and customer satisfaction
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ Years of countertop installation
- Previous experience installing granite, quartz, or other solid surfaces preferred
- Proficient with construction tools, grinders, polishers, and levelers
- Physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a physically demanding role
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt on-site
- Comfortable reading blueprints or layout drawings
Work Environment:
- Indoor and outdoor job sites, including residential homes and commercial buildings
- Regular exposure to dust, heavy lifting, and use of cutting and grinding tools
- Travel between job sites may be required
