Medical Records Administrative Assistant
Location: Dubuque, IA
Pay: $16-$20/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
A busy specialty practice is seeking a Medical Records Administrative Assistant to support their clinical team and ensure accurate, timely handling of patient records and communications. This role is essential to the day-to-day operations of the office and requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient records and prepare charts for daily clinical schedules
- Communicate with team members across multiple office locations
- Schedule appointments and maintain referral, recall, and charting systems
- Handle incoming calls, faxes, and other correspondence
- Maintain a clean, professional front office and reception area
- Assist with chart audits, data gathering, and patient communication
- Enter and manage patient information using WINOMS and MS Office
- Participate in quality improvement and compliance activities
- Support other administrative duties as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ year of office or customer service experience (medical/dental preferred)
- Experience with electronic health records a plus
