Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking candidates for an Assembler position in Dubuque, Iowa.
We’re assisting a local manufacturing facility in hiring a full-time Assembler. This role requires excellent dexterity and attention to detail to assemble, sub-assemble, and test a wide range of products. Candidates with previous manufacturing or assembly experience are encouraged to apply.
Pay: $18–$20/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time | 1st Shift: 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Monday–Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and sub-assemble products according to specifications
- Perform quality checks and testing on completed products
- Operate basic hand and power tools as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Reliable attendance and ability to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Lift and move products and materials as required (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
