Job Full Description
A local industrial company in Dubuque is seeking an Inside Sales & Support Staff member to join their growing team. This role combines inside sales, administrative support, and light warehouse duties to help keep operations running efficiently.
What You’ll Do
Inside Sales & Customer Support
- Answer calls and emails from customers regarding compressors, parts, and service needs
- Prepare quotes, orders, and invoices
- Support outside sales with product information and documentation
- Schedule field and in-shop service jobs
- Maintain product knowledge and follow up on open orders
Administrative & Operations Support
- Process service work orders and maintain accurate records
- Assist with vendor orders and returns
- Help organize the office and coordinate shipping documentation
Shipping & Receiving
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy
- Process and stock inventory
- Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate freight pickups
- Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in inside sales, warehouse, or service coordination (industrial experience preferred)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office; Traverse ERP a plus)
- Excellent multitasking and communication abilities
- Mechanically inclined or familiar with compressors/pneumatic systems (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in both office and warehouse settings
