Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced tax preparers for a local accounting firm to assist during the busy tax season.
Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns (individual and/or business)
- Review tax documents (W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, etc.)
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
- Communicate with clients as needed
- Use tax preparation software efficiently
Qualifications
- Prior tax preparation experience required
- Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
- Experience with tax software (Drake, ProSeries, UltraTax, Lacerte, or similar)
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management
- PTIN required; EA or CPA a plus
