Office Manager
Location: Dubuque, IA
Pay: $22–$24/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Full-time | Core hours between 7:30am–4:30pm or 8:00am–5:00pm (some flexibility available)
Express Employment Professionals is assisting a local Dubuque-based company with a search for an Office Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and make outbound follow-up calls as needed
- Enter data and prepare proposals using pre-formatted templates
- Track and follow up on incoming leads
- Manage billing functions and maintain organized financial records
- Process payments and assist with basic accounting tasks
- Utilize QuickBooks
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Support operational organization and workflow improvements
- Assist with additional administrative duties as the business grows
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous office or administrative experience required
- Experience in a construction or contracting environment is a plus, but not required
- Strong computer skills and comfort working in multiple systems
- QuickBooks experience is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable handling phone communication, both inbound and outbound
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive work style
