Express Employment is seeking qualified candidates for a Northwest Illinois company in need of an experienced Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Partner. This temporary role will cover a 12-week maternity leave, with potential for extension or permanent hire.
The recruiter will support high-volume hiring efforts, primarily for warehouse associates and truck drivers. Prior experience recruiting for these types of roles is required.
Position Details:
- Pay: $25–$28/hour (based on experience)
- Duration: 12-week maternity leave coverage with potential for hire
- Location: Primarily remote; onsite during the first week for onboarding/training
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for warehouse and driver positions
- Source, screen, and interview candidates
- Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers
- Maintain candidate pipelines and ensure timely communication
- Post jobs and manage applicants across recruiting platforms
- Track recruiting activity and maintain accurate ATS records
Qualifications:
- Ideally 3+ years of recruiting experience
- Required experience recruiting warehouse and truck driver roles
- LinkedIn Recruiter experience preferred
- Indeed and Workday experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced setting
