Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for a brand-new facility in Dubuque.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform general building maintenance and upkeep for a new facility
- Assist with basic repairs and preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the building and surrounding grounds
- Monitor building systems and report any issues or needed repairs
- Coordinate with vendors or contractors as needed (many items under warranty)
- Support a safe and well-maintained work environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous maintenance, facilities, or general repair experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC a plus)
- Ability to troubleshoot minor issues and complete routine repairs
- Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean facility
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
