CNC Machinist
Pay: Starting at $23.00/hour with an increase upon permanent hire

Are you an experienced machinist who takes pride in precision, quality, and problem-solving? We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team responsible for producing high-quality metallic and non-metallic door components.
This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of CNC and conventional machining equipment while contributing to a collaborative, quality-focused production environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC and conventional machining equipment, including mills, lathes, drills, punch presses, shears, band saws, and press brakes.
- Program CNC machines using G & M code or conversational programming.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
- Perform machining operations while maintaining tight tolerances and quality standards.
- Design and utilize fixtures, gauges, and jigs to support production accuracy.
- Conduct machine changeovers, layouts, assemblies, and tear-downs.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and hoists as needed.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintain accurate production, inspection, and testing records.
- Monitor inventory, perform cycle counts, and maintain material documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
- Train and support team members on machine operation and safety procedures.
- Move between machining centers as needed to meet production demands.
- Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree from a technical school, related training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous CNC and conventional machining experience preferred.
- CNC programming experience strongly desired.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Strong understanding of machining techniques, tolerances, and quality standards.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
