Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a General Laborer for a local Dubuque-area company. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team.
If you don't mind getting your hands dirty and prefer a job that keeps you moving, this could be a great fit!
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Occasional overtime as needed
- No weekends
Responsibilities
- Assist with asphalt and rock-related projects
- Perform general labor duties at job sites
- Load, unload, and move materials
- Operate hand tools and equipment as directed
- Support crew members with daily project needs
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Follow company safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous construction, landscaping, or general labor experience is a plus but not required
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to perform physically demanding work throughout the day
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods
- Comfortable performing hands-on work in outdoor environments
- Able to work in dusty, dirty, and physically demanding conditions
