Accounting Specialist

Schedule: Temporary – Approximately 12 Weeks, with Potential for Full-Time Hire
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a local company to seek an Accounting Specialist to assist with daily accounting functions, system updates, and accounts payable responsibilities. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 12 weeks, with the potential for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable processing and related accounting tasks.
- Perform system updates and maintain accurate financial records.
- Enter, review, and update information within accounting systems.
- Assist with invoice processing and documentation.
- Support the accounting team with additional administrative and financial tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous accounting, accounts payable, or bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
