Construction / Carpentry Laborer – $20+ DOE

Express Employment Professionals in Derby is seeking an experienced Construction/Carpentry Laborer to join a reputable local crew. This is not an entry‑level role — we’re looking for someone who can step in with confidence, skill, and a strong work ethic.
What You’ll Do

Assist with residential and commercial construction projects

Build and repair decks, fences, framing, and other carpentry structures

Work with concrete, including forming, pouring, and finishing

Safely operate hand tools and power tools

Support general jobsite tasks as needed
What You Must Bring

Solid construction and carpentry experience — this role requires proven industry background of at least 3 years

Strong familiarity with hand tools, concrete work, decks, and fences

Ability to speak and understand English for safety and communication

Reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work as part of a team

Willingness to work outdoors and in varying conditions
