Make‑Ready Technician – Apartments (Derby / South Wichita)
Pay: $18+ per hour | Day Shift | Full-Time
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Make‑Ready Technician to support apartment communities in the Derby and South Wichita area. If you take pride in turning units quickly and professionally — and you’ve got the tools and know‑how to do it — this role is a great fit.
What You’ll Do

Prepare vacant units for new tenants

Perform basic repairs: drywall patching, painting, caulking, minor plumbing, minor electrical, appliance checks

Complete punch lists efficiently and accurately

Ensure units meet property standards before move‑in

Assist maintenance teams as needed
What You Need

Previous make‑ready or apartment maintenance experience is required

Must have your own tools

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Reliability and a solid work ethic

Ability to lift, carry, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
