Safety Manager – Ascension – D098
Pay: 30.00-33.50/hr
Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a Safety Manager
Responsibilities:
- Support job hazard analyses (JHAs), pre-job safety meetings (toolbox talks), and risk assessments.
- Monitor the use and condition of personal protective equipment (PPE). Ensure employees and contractors are using proper PPE and following safety protocols.
- Assist in emergency response planning, drills, and coordination.
- Report unsafe conditions and practices; follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Maintain knowledge of new and evolving safety legislation and best practices; provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, industrial hygiene, and management personnel to enhance safety performance.
- Participate in safety committees and meetings; prepare safety reports for management.
