Diesel Mechanic/Mechanic Helper- Full time
$18-20/hour for Helper - $28-$32.00/hour for Mechanic
Maurice, LA
We are hiring a full-time skilled Diesel Mechanic or diesel mechanic helper to work on concrete and over-the-road trucks. This company is willing to train but candidate does need to have some experience and knowledge in mechanic work.
Schedule:
- M-F 8-5, occasional Saturdays-40-50 hours a week!
Payrate:
- $18-20/hour for Helper
- $28-$32.00/hour for Mechanic
Responsibilities/Duties:

Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines on heavy-duty trucks

Perform routine maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension systems

Troubleshoot and repair electrical and hydraulic systems

Conduct DOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards

Use diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve issues

Replace or repair worn or damaged parts (tires, axles, fuel systems, etc.)
