Church Point, LA
We’re looking for dependable, hands-on workers for a local food production company. This role involves assisting with the preparation, cooking, smoking, and packaging of meat products in a fast-paced production environment.
Schedule:
• Start times as early as 5:30 a.m.
• Schedule varies based on daily production
• Boudin production: Tuesdays & Thursdays
• Sausage production: Monday, Wednesday, Friday & part of Tuesday
• Workday ends when production is complete
• Some days may be 10–12 hours
• Work weeks can average 50 hours
• Overtime paid
Job Duties:
• Prep meat products
• Cook and smoke products
• Package finished goods
• Operate production equipment
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Rotate duties as needed
• Hands-on, team-oriented role
Pay:
• $11/hr.
• Overtime available
