HVAC Technician
New Iberia, LA | Full-Time | Pay: $24-28/Hr.
We are seeking a Skilled HVAC Technician to install, inspect, and maintain heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems in modular and industrial buildings.
Responsibilities:
-
Assemble and install HVAC units, air handlers, thermostats, coils, heat pumps, and associated components
-
Perform preventive maintenance to protect equipment and units
-
Inspect machines and equipment to ensure proper operation
-
Review production orders and resolve manufacturing issues to prevent delays
-
Maintain records and follow all safety regulations
-
Cross-train in multiple stages of the manufacturing process as needed
Requirements:
-
5+ years HVAC experience
-
HVAC or EPA Certification
-
Knowledge of tools, materials, and safe HVAC practices
-
Ability to read blueprints and use hand/power tools
-
Ability to repair, install, inspect, and maintain HVAC systems
-
Basic computer skills
Preferred:
-
Journeyman HVAC/R License
-
Ability to perform physical labor including lifting, bending, climbing, and kneeling
-
Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in various weather conditions
