The General Laborer will support our Passenger Rail Mechanics, maintaining and repairing passenger rail cars and locomotives, and helping to maintain the facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Help to make repairs on passenger railcars and locomotives, as required
• Operate tractors, tugs, forklifts, oil pumps and overhead crane (with required training)
• Help to maintain the work area, including general cleaning and disposal tasks
• Offloads inventory and properly storing stock
• Loads trucks with outgoing inventory
• Performs small building repairs as needed
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Requires High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent reading, writing, and reasoning skills)
• Familiarity and skill with use of hand tools is preferred
• Positive work history / personnel record
• Operating a forklift is highly preferred
• Must have good communication and organizational skills
• Valid driver's license is required
• Ability to work flexible schedules, with overtime potential
• Successful completion of a pre-employment screening process

Laborer must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate/office policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.

Monday-Friday 7:00am start, pay is $222-$24/hr DOE to start, temp to perm.
