Gerber Machine Operator Job Summary: A premier foam manufacturing company located in Byron Center, MI is seeking a Machine Operator for their thriving organization. This is an employee owned company with profit sharing. This is your chance to join a family of people that care about each other and the work they do.
Gerber Machine Operator Requirements:
- Setting/altering the parameters for cutting pattern
- Cut quality and material utilization, verification of pattern and parameters
- Reviewing first pieces for any quality problems, adjusting as necessary
- Responsible for working jointly with the machine mechanic to achieve maximum efficiency
Schedule & Pay:
- 1st shift 5:00am – 1:00pm Monday-Friday with overtime as required
- $17.00/HR
Gerber Machine Operator Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-year experience operating machining equipment
- Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- A history of excellent attendance and punctuality is required as well as above par math, measurement and manual dexterity
