Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Summary
A manufacturing company in Stevensville, MI that produces steel coils is seeking a reliable Quality Inspector. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting finished materials and ensuring products meet company quality standards.
Responsibilities
• Inspect steel coils and materials to ensure they meet quality specifications
• Perform visual inspections and basic measurements of finished products
• Identify defects or inconsistencies and report issues to production or management
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
• Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production
• Keep inspection area clean and organized
• Work independently and manage daily inspection tasks
Qualifications
• Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good organizational and documentation skills
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Work Environment
• Manufacturing facility producing steel coils
• Position requires standing for extended periods
• Some light material handling may be required
