Administrative Assistant (Part-Time)

Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Total: 32 hours per week

Pay Rate

$15–$20 per hour (based on experience)

We are a leading company in the plastics manufacturing industry, specializing in innovative extrusion screw designs used in processes such as injection molding and blow molding.


Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our daily operations. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft 365, and the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between vendors and customers
  • Respond to email inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Create and maintain files; track shipping and delivery dates
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in databases, bookings, and spreadsheets
  • Prepare documentation such as:
    • Order acknowledgments
    • Purchase orders
    • Packing slips
    • Shipping labels and documents
    • Invoices
  • Maintain workflow files and keep the office organized

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Administrative Assisting or a combination of education and at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience preparing and managing business forms and documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including:
    • Excel (formulas required)
    • Word
    • Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong written communication skills
  • Knowledge of the plastics or manufacturing industry is a plus
