Material Handler needed in Dexter, MI!
Shift: Day Shift- 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 Monday – Friday, OT as required
Pay: $17
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Demonstrate basic computer proficiency.
- Accurately operate scales and perform weight counting of parts and materials.
- Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and over 50 pounds on an occasional basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Learn and apply proper handling procedures and determine the appropriate wash/degreasing cycle for various parts.
- Follow written and verbal work instructions to ensure the accurate processing of parts through vibratory finishing operations.
- Transport and deliver parts to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Operate a forklift safely and maintain a valid forklift certification.
- Work effectively with team members and collaborate professionally with customers and employees across departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Basic understanding of material handling processes and inventory movement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to make accurate, data-informed decisions.

- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and internal customers.
- Ability to follow safety procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions.
- Dependable attendance and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

- RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act) Training
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training
- Forklift Certification Training
