Order Delivery Planner
Austin, MN
$19.25 per hour
Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm with 1 hour lunch break
40 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating efficient truck delivery routes for customer and interplant orders.
- Groups individual sales and transfer orders from the mainframe based Order Processing (OP) System into optimal truck delivery routes to meet customer service requirements using the JDA software.
- Coordinates and communicates with order entry, sales, transportation and 3rd delivery services to cost effectively deliver customer orders on time.
- Deals with daily and weekly volume peaks based on sales levels. All routing must be completed daily regardless of volume fluctuations. Work peaks between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. When work volume dictates, timing of lunch break needs to be variable . During peak activity levels, unpredictable daily overtime is associated with this position.
- Must be able to work past normal business hours as work volume dictates. Situations that would require working past normally scheduled hours are not always predictable. Work associated with this position cannot be postponed.

Required:
- Ability to accurately enter data.
- Exemplary attendance record
- Demonstrated use of organizational skills and ability to prioritize work.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to initiate appropriate action independently.
- Demonstrated understanding of teamwork as it relates to the entire organization.
- Proficient with computers and mainframe system.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience within transportation management systems
- Previous logistics or supply chain experience.
