Express Employment Professionals is supporting an industry leader in their search for Claims Representatives. This is a contract-to-hire, remote position however candidates must reside in the state of Minnesota. You will be responsible for contacting insurance companies and renters to resolve outstanding damage claims.
What's an average day like as a Claims Representative?
- Making outbound calls and handling inbound calls with insurance companies and renters to resolve outstanding damage claims
- Discuss and negotiate payments/settlements with professional communication
- Entering data and correspondence from interactions with insurance companies and renters
- Focusing on collection targets and performance metrics
What do we look for in a Claims Representative?
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant collections experience
- Strong ability to communicate and negotiate through email and phone
- Tech-savvy with working knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams
- Collaborative, self-starter, and competitive
- Ability to work remotely in a distraction-free environment
