We are seeking a talented and motivated Production Engineer to join an industry leader in Winsted, MN. As a Production Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving efficiency improvements. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot production issues and develop solutions.
- Conduct regular assessments of production equipment and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend actionable improvements.
- Provide technical support and training to production staff as needed.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday day shift
- Contract for 3-6 months
