Express Employment is supporting an industry-leader in their search for a skilled CNC Router Operator to join the production team. This role is responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish countertop materials such as quartz, granite, and solid surface products. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC router machines to fabricate countertops and related components
• Load and unload stone or solid surface materials safely
• Read and interpret CAD drawings, cut files, and production specifications
• Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet company standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Previous CNC operation experience (router experience preferred)
• Experience in countertop, cabinetry, or stone fabrication is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints/CAD drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physical environment
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AlphaCAM, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Forklift or crane operation experience
• Knowledge of stone fabrication processes
