Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a Delivery Driver for a local company in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Job Duties:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers in a timely manner
- Load, unload, and secure items for transport to prevent damage
- Review delivery orders, routes, and schedules before departing
- Follow assigned routes while adapting to traffic, weather, or road conditions as needed
- Verify delivery contents against invoices or shipping documents
- Obtain signatures or proof of delivery when required
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during all deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork
- Inspect vehicle before and after trips to ensure safe operating condition
- Report any vehicle issues, accidents, or delivery discrepancies promptly
- Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures
- Assist with warehouse or shipping duties when not on the road (if applicable)
- Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle
Pay: $15/hr
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm.
