Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Sandblaster/Painter for a local company in Cape Girardeau, MO.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare surfaces using sandblasting, abrasive blasting, and cleaning techniques
- Apply industrial coatings, primers, and paints to metal and other materials
- Mix and match coatings to meet job specifications and quality standards
- Inspect surfaces before and after treatment to ensure proper adhesion and finish
- Operate and maintain blasting and painting equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow project specs, blueprints, and coating requirements closely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Touch up and repair coatings as needed for a flawless final product
Qualifications
- Experience with sandblasting and/or industrial painting
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- Knowledge of coatings, surface prep, and safety procedures
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
Pay: $18/hr+ (Based on Experience)
Schedule: M-F, dayshift
