Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Cook for an opportunity in St. Louis, MO (63108). This role is ideal for a dependable and organized individual with kitchen experience who enjoys preparing meals in a structured, client-focused environment. This position offers steady hours with long-term potential.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Plan weekly menus in coordination with available supplies
• Prepare meals for up to 15 clients, three times per day
• Organize meal preparation to ensure proper timing and efficiency
• Store food and supplies according to safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food inspection requirements
• Monitor and maintain kitchen and food storage areas
• Order food and kitchen supplies as needed and complete food orders accurately
• Communicate with staff to coordinate client meals and schedules
• Adhere to established mealtimes and dietary guidelines
• Ensure snacks are stocked and provided regularly
• Maintain accurate food inventory documentation to support cost control
• Oversee completion of kitchen-related client chores
• Observe clients during meals and report any concerns to staff
• Promote a respectful, positive, and therapeutic environment
• Complete documentation according to facility and licensure standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous cooking or kitchen experience required
• ServSafe certification or ability to become certified
• Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain
• Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Experience working in a client-centered or residential environment preferred
