Assembler | St. Louis, MO | Earn $16 - $20/hr
Express Employment Professionals is hiring Assemblers in the St. Louis Downtown area. This is a staffing placement — one application connects you to 250+ local companies we are actively staffing right now. If this role is not the right fit, we will find one that is.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assembling parts, components, and subassemblies according to work orders, blueprints, or verbal instructions
- Using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures to complete assembly tasks
- Inspecting finished products for quality and reporting defects or inconsistencies
- Reading and following assembly diagrams, schematics, or standard operating procedures
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation in compliance with safety standards
- Meeting production quotas while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Prior assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Ability to read work orders, basic diagrams, or assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistent quality throughout your shift
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Reliable attendance — production teams count on every member showing up
- Background check and drug screen may be required depending on client
