Industrial Spray Painter / Coatings Technician – 2nd Shift – Wentzville, MO – $20.00/hr
Job Summary
We are currently seeking Industrial Spray Painter / Coatings Technician candidates for a 2nd shift opportunity in Wentzville, Missouri. This role is ideal for experienced industrial painters or spray booth operators who are skilled in surface preparation, coating application, and operating spray equipment in a manufacturing environment. What You’ll Be Doing
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, priming, sealing, and patching
• Paint truck beds and other surfaces using primers, polyurethanes, lacquer thinner finishes, and textured coatings
• Tape, sand, repair, and apply texturing layers on a variety of surfaces
• Operate, clean, and maintain painting equipment including brushes, sprayers, spray guns, robotic spray guns, and pumps
• Erect scaffolding, rigging, and ladders as needed while following safety guidelines
• Safely store, label, and handle all painting materials
• Maintain records and submit work reports as required
• Read, understand, and clearly communicate work instructions
• Follow quality, safety, and production standards at all times
Requirements
• Previous industrial spray painting or coatings experience preferred
• Experience using paint spray guns
• Ability to read and understand work instructions
• Blueprint knowledge preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with TS and ISO requirements
• Knowledge of robots and robot programming is a strong asset
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
