Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst – Software Testing for a full-time, direct opportunity in O’Fallon, Missouri. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals early in their QA career who are passionate about technology, enjoy working with computers, and want to collaborate closely with software developers to improve software quality and performance.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Perform manual testing on PC desktop software applications and web-based applications
• Identify, document, and track software bugs, defects, missing requirements, and usability issues
• Review software design specifications to understand scope, requirements, and functionality
• Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements
• Validate software functionality, data accuracy, and expected results
• Collaborate closely with software developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes
• Participate in requirement reviews to ensure testability and completeness
• Provide clear and detailed feedback to improve overall software quality
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• 1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing (entry-level candidates with strong fundamentals encouraged to apply)
• Strong interest in software testing and technology
• Familiarity with desktop and web application testing concepts
• Ability to understand technical documentation and translate requirements into test cases
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with development teams
• A genuine passion for computers, software, and learning new technologies
